For over forty years, Continuum has been pioneering a revolution in the experience of the human body and its relationship to our planet.

Now, more than ever, we are facing health concerns that have no known precedent.
It is clear that new models for health and healing are needed. The rise in health care costs, the side effects of drugs, and the continuing contamination of air, water and food supplies are having an escalating impact upon our social and personal health.

The old adage, “necessity is the father of invention” is now very much at hand as we look deeper into ourselves for new sources of sustenance.
 
Another old adage, “united we stand, divided we fall” also comes to mind as we face our mutually concerned futures.
 
It is interesting that under times of necessity other species merge into a “stalk” or “cluster”, an assemblage of bodies that creates for a time, a “merged form”.  The many bodies literally become one body and in some cases spiral for many miles. The merging creates a “super organism” in which varied potentials are now amplified and mated with the immediacy and absorption of information flow.

Multi-cellular life can also be seen as a “super organism”, without the grouping of cells none of us would be here.

We, as humans can create “fields of resonance” that have a similar effect to the “cluster” or “stalk”. In order to over-ride the environmental assault on our systems we are impelled to create a larger “body” in which the burden of maintaining our personal and societal health is no longer held in isolation, but can be invigorated through a “field consciousness”.

As we emerge from the sourcing of our Continuum journey we put pen to paper and revel in the writing, hieroglyphic renderings, ciphers and mysterious cave drawings that sometimes appear as stories, poems and possibly dialogues as emergent characters surprisingly appear.

We find ourselves in a process that is individually illuminating, mysterious, communally healing, politically radical, and in forms of genius never seen before. We move, we sound, our voices blend, our gestures reveal the moment as alive with creative fire.

Ultimately this process helps us witness the immense brilliance of the wave of cellular illumination and innovation that we as humans are suspended in.

We come together to invoke the Ancient Mystery school once existing as a means of experiencing the Divine within each human heart. These Ancient teachings brought knowledge: God is not elsewhere but lies within the quiver of our own fluid destinies, an inherent spirituality...our birthright.

In these times of extreme fragmentation and stress, summoning our inner resources within our communities and ourselves is essential to living as a truly unified consciousness.

The holy spirit of water has played a central role in all religious practices and has long been recognized as a wisdom teaching, gifting us with illumination, health, and insight.

All rites of passage were expressions of bio-cosmic processes bringing to Devotees a link to a universal motif existing in the Eternal heavens as well as in their own bodies.

Rituals were designed as physical re-enactments of cosmic processes. All practices of re-newal followed a similar pattern. There was an incubator, container, uterus, alchemical vessel or sarcophagus holding the vital ingredients as the transforming spirals of life reverberated through the precious liquid.

The symbol containing all of this is the Uroboros, the serpent swallowing its tail whilst embracing the cosmic egg signifying the union of all opposites, “Divine Coupling”. The immensity of this symbol is at the core of all spiritual teaching linking us to life, death and resurrection as the movement of “wholey” existence.

The Uroboros can be realized as a spiraled passage where the birth canal and the bardo are united as one enters and exits this world on an undulating wave of deliverance.

Ultimately one comes away from these Ancient re-enactments with a sense of renewal and purpose. Our inner teacher is present, and with its pulsating palpability, we face the challenges of life with an awakened and undaunted heart.

Suzanne Scurlock-Durana and Emilie Conrad continue in their thirteenth year of collaboration to pursue the vastness of the human experience.

Our concern in these tumultuous times is to deepen our potential to source ourselves in greater life-supporting ways. Our current capacity to be present is an accumulation of all of our experiences up to now; our goal is to increase this experiential range. The facility to fully feel our bodies as a vibrant flow of moving energy with healthy boundaries and with life-enhancing resources becomes ever more vital in today’s world. The artistry of life is dependent upon the loosening of our defensive postures that compromise the richness of existence. Once loosened, we have access to the energy of love, of eros.

All bio-cosmic information arrives in waves and spirals but often cannot penetrate our dense, conditioned tissue. Tissue restrictions, from a cellular level, through our organ structures out to our skin repel the richness of bio-cosmic information forcing us to experience the world from the narrow perceptual lens of linear time. When we are missing the capacity to sense what is going on in the present moment of our bodies, the only alternative is to orient ourselves through our past history,
locking us into a repetitive emotional circuit.

Breath and sound, coupled with conscious awareness, are two of the most effective means to develop sensory receptors within our tissue structures, as well expanding our time–space orientation. This allows us to step into our full body presence where we feel the cellular radiance effortlessly exuding a unifying atmosphere feeding
