The Eternal Return* with Emilie Conrad The Universe communicates to us through resonate streams that are separate from practical movements that carry us from here to there. These bio-cosmic movements undulate, spiral and pulsate re-enacting through our bodies living processes not bound by time, space or condition. The Eternal Return is to enter with full consciousness the orbiting spiral of life as it leads us through the profundity of a continually emerging human. In our time together you will be presented with experiential practices including movement and a variety of voicings, expanding our consciousness and providing a deeply healing environment. As our days weave together we have an opportunity to discover the depth and breadth of our resonant field. An abundant blend is created as our movements, voices, breaths and words create an inspiration of new significance. We now enter the domain of cells, mitochondria and other organisms micro-moving beneath the surface of our conventional world. Our movements become fractals of universal motifs orchestrating themselves within our versatile tissue. No longer bound in limited time/space we move freely within the universe of our organism. We can now describe the human body as a continuum of creative possibilities freely expressing the dexterity of an encompassing life. We birth a multi-layered consciousness that is able to receive the fullness of a life well lived. Fluid Anatomy - The Fountain of Life (Flyer) Moving Consciousness: Touch, Health and Resilience In their fourteenth year of cutting-edge collaboration between the movement world of Continuum and the hands-on world of CranioSacral therapy, Emilie Conrad and Suzanne Scurlock-Durana continue to pursue the vastness of the human experience. The CranioSacral system provides the environment from which our most important nervous system functions originate. The capacity of this system to function optimally can make or break a health care challenge, as well as providing you with a resilience that carries you in to the future with a higher quality of existence. Emilie and Suzanne discovered a number of years ago that Continuum movement, breath and sound provide an inner stimulus that ignites the CranioSacral system and significantly enhances treatment outcomes. It creates more fluidity and opens inner doorways not possible with CranioSacral therapy alone. Further, they realized that the specificity, and yet non-invasive, nature of CranioSacral touch vastly increases the healing outcome of any Continuum session. In doing so, the resilience of each person’s system is greatly enhanced as well as the quality of life and consciousness that is more readily available. This year, they will continue exploring this frontier of consciousness and health – how increasing healthy fluidity enhances resilience and how conscious touch in movement can exponentially change health challenges outcomes.
