This is how we define strength. Scientific research shows that there is more nervous system involvement in fluid, multi-directional movement than in linear exercise. Most fitness professionals are now questioning the restriction that linear movement places on joint mobility, propensity for injury, and the disassociation it creates as it blocks the body’s inclination to move in a fluid manner.
In using the Explore Board with Emilie Conrad’s Jungle Gym Workout, we are offering an approach that expands our escription of a “fit” body. We strengthen by developing complex muscular relationships that engage in diverse angles with gravity. Rather than patterned mechanical exercises, we offer varietal possibilities as flowing relationships to gravity are introduced. The Explore Board adjusts to any body shape or length. It can be used in a variety of positions that provide a strong support for your explorations with gravity.

Aging involves, among other things, a gradual compression and shortening of the muscular-skeletal frame due to our constant upright posture. Using the suspension offered by the Exploreboard, natural, painless decompression and elongation occur, as well as an increase in overall fluidity. Stiff joints become lubricated and mobile when encouraged to move in an open, wavelike manner.
The use of weights will add more muscular resistance to your workout, as well as creating traction, that is excellent for bone health. Our use of weights includes our specially designed Strong Suit. The suit is designed to carry the weight along the long bone lines of the arms and legs, wrapping weights around both ankles and wrists. For additional weight, we use our Strong Suit Vest and Belt to increase the load. The Strong Suit allows for a more challenging strengthening process, as well as providing increased traction of bone and lengthening of muscle.

The Exercise Video demonstrates a basic Jungle Gym Exercise Program, and proper use of the Exploreboard. This program is appropriate for a beginning, as well as an advanced workout. To add more variety and expand your workout, our Accessory, and Extension can be added.
