I have traveled for this planet many years exploring a variety of avenues, including the field of health and wellness. I am a perennial student, fascinated by the unknown, always searching for hidden clues, somehow restless for the deeper meanings. My ‘real’ training began in 2005 when the world of Continuum opened for me. As with many others, there were multiple medical issues that surfaced, demanding to be heard, and to be embraced at a very deep level. For me, this journey involved sinking into the mystery, the inquiry, the liquid communication that lies within, silently longing for expression. Gradually, I came to find freedom and aliveness in tissues buried within the intrinsic layers and to learn to welcome the larger space of healing, the vast field in which we can all rest. In the past year two years, I have been sharing Continuum daily with clients. The results have been profound - beyond anything I could have imagined. There is ongoing humility, an honoring of possibility as I witness how gratefully tissues open to resonance and to the welcoming freedom of informing movement. Becoming a Teacher as well invites my heart to share with others on a larger stage, and to dialog with groups of the simplicity and the efficacy of this work. My earliest training was as a speech-language pathologist. Much later I was certified as a massage therapist, a Wellsprings Practitioner, a Nia Blue Belt instructor, and a Watsu practitioner. Other trainings have included multiple levels of Craniosacral/Sacred Spaces massage and Lymph Drainage therapy, and learning experiences with Lomi-Lomi massage, soft tissue mobilization as well as therapeutic essential oils, and the use of heated/chilled stones. I have also studied the work of Peter Levine and have incorporated his principles in somatic dialog communication. My husband and I live in Charleston, S.C. We travel frequently to visit our two children and to experience our magical grandsons.
