Cory Blake is an authorized Continuum Movement teacher that comes to Continuum through music.   He has been a guitarist, educator, and composer for more than 25 years.   He was a student of the renowned Mexican mystic, poet, and guitarist Jesus Silva, whom he credits with being his doorway teacher.   During the eighties, with the intent to refine an effortless musical technique he began to explore an array of mind/body technologies including Yoga, Tai Chi, and the Alexander Technique.   A long time student of Buddhist meditation and human potential inquiries he has always been interested in the transformational and community building qualities of music.   After resonating for a few years with words concerning water and human nature by Emilie Conrad, he came officially to Continuum in 1993.   He knew immediately that it would be a life's work.   Shortly thereafter he began studying with Susan Harper.   Six years later he began teaching Organic Being, a work based on Continuum.   Cory believes that the opening and love that is Continuum is a next step in human evolution.   He is extremely grateful to Emilie Conrad and Susan Harper for their teaching and mentorship.   And he is deeply blessed with his lovely wife Amy, and the newly arrived wonder Grace Virginia.
